Unfortunately, the U.S. Coast Guard has notified us that, due to the federal government shutdown, they are canceling their November 11 performance at Glastonbury High School. The U.S. Coast Guard has decided to cancel now due to logistical constraints. Even if the government shutdown ends in the coming days, the concert will remain canceled.
We are working with the Coast Guard to see if a future date could be scheduled next year.
The Glastonbury High School Drama Club will present The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 in the GHS auditorium at 7:00 pm on November 14, 15, 21, and 22. Tickets are available online for $15 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens.

The Board of Education's current long-term facilities plan is set to expire in 2027. A new 10-year plan for school space is under development. The new plan will address short and long-term solutions to elementary school space issues and the need to modernize many of our schools through building renovations.
This is a complex issue with no easy answers. The Board is still in the early research stage, and no decisions have been made. We encourage you to learn more.
